Intake Coordinator
Alyssa Catzman is the Intake Coordinator at Wonderwise Psychology. She serves as the first point of contact for families seeking support, guiding parents through the initial steps of connecting with the right clinician and services for their child.
Alyssa is committed to creating a warm, welcoming experience and helping families feel supported and informed from their very first interaction with the clinic.
The best part of my work is building meaningful connections with parents and knowing that I am helping guide them through the first step of getting support for their children. As the initial point of contact, I understand that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming. I take pride in helping families navigate what can sometimes feel like a confusing mental health system.
I strive to set a warm, welcoming tone that reflects our clinic’s values and to ensure families feel supported and confident as they move forward.
I truly value the supportive and collaborative environment among colleagues at Wonderwise Psychology. I also deeply align with the clinic’s thoughtful, compassionate approach to supporting children and their families.
As a child, I wanted to be a teacher and/or a guidance counsellor. I have always loved working with children, and several teachers I had growing up made a lasting impression on me. That early interest in supporting young people continues to shape my professional path today.
Role at Wonderwise Psychology
I support families during the intake process, helping them understand available services such as child therapy sessions and connect with the clinician who best fits their child’s needs.
I aim to make the first step of reaching out feel clear, organized, and reassuring, ensuring families feel informed and confident as they begin their journey with our team.
