Learn More About Me

The most rewarding part of being a psychologist is spending my days working with incredible children and supporting both them and their families. There is a deep sense of satisfaction in knowing that my work makes a positive impact. I feel especially encouraged when I hear that a client has applied a therapy technique independently outside of our sessions — those moments highlight growth, confidence, and meaningful progress.

I look forward to coming to work each day because it allows me to serve my clients with dedication and care, ensuring that I meet their needs and help them achieve their goals. Being part of a supportive team is also one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work. Collaboration and shared commitment to care strengthen the support we provide to children and families.

As a child, I dreamed of becoming an elementary school teacher. I have always had a passion for working with young people. When I began studying psychology in high school, I realized that combining my interest in mental health with my love of working with children would be the ideal path for me.

My clinical approach is client-centred, with rapport-building at the heart of my work. Providing a safe and trusting space for everyone that walks through the doors of Wonderwise Psychology allows therapy to be most effective. I do not believe in a “one-size-fits-all” approach; different strategies and techniques support different individuals and cognitive profiles. My work integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS).

Areas of Focus

I provide assessment services and child therapy services for children experiencing a range of emotional and behavioural challenges.

My therapeutic areas of focus include:

  • Anxiety

  • Low mood

  • Obsessive and compulsive behaviours

  • Self-regulation difficulties

  • Social skill development

In addition to therapy, I have a strong interest in psychological and psychoeducational assessments. I support children and families in exploring diagnoses related to learning disabilities, attention-related disorders, autism spectrum disorder, and mental health disorders.

Education & Professional Background

  • Ph.D., School and Applied Child Psychology, University of Western Ontario

  • Registered School and Clinical Psychologist, College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO)

At the beginning of my professional career, I worked in community mental health agencies in Southwestern Ontario, in private practice settings across the GTA, and with the York Region District School Board. In these roles, I gained extensive experience conducting assessments and providing evidence-based therapy.
