Learn More About Me
The best part of my work is helping children learn more about themselves and discover the resilience they already carry within. It is inspiring to witness moments of growth, challenge, and change, and to see my clients develop into stronger, healthier versions of themselves while building confidence and curiosity. I also feel deeply grateful to the parents who entrust me with supporting their children and who are open to developing a deeper understanding of their child along the way.
When Dr. Catherine Cappadocia and I founded Wonderwise Psychology, our goal was to build a warm and welcoming space where everyone feels safe and comfortable. We envisioned a team of clinicians who share core values and engage in evidence-based practice while forming strong relationships with children and families. It is incredibly meaningful to see that vision come to life each day. It also helps that our clinic is located at Yorkdale, the occasional treat or shopping break certainly brightens my day.
As a child, my professional aspirations changed often, but they consistently revolved around working with children. I imagined becoming different kinds of teachers, a pediatrician, or even a professional camp counsellor. I discovered psychology during my first year of undergraduate studies, inspired by an Introduction to Psychology course that sparked a lasting interest in the field.
My clinical approach is integrative, flexible, and deeply collaborative. I draw on evidence-based practices from cognitive-behavioural and developmental frameworks, tailoring each assessment and intervention to the unique strengths, needs, and context of the child and family. I integrate components of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). I view children within the systems they live in and work closely with caregivers, schools, and other professionals to ensure recommendations are practical and meaningful in everyday life. At the heart of my work is a strengths-based, client-centred, compassionate approach that helps children better understand themselves while supporting families to feel informed, empowered, and connected.
Areas of Focus
I provide assessment, consultation, and therapy services for children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of mental health, learning, and social-emotional challenges.
My therapeutic work focuses on:
Anxiety disorders

Obsessive-compulsive behaviours (OCD)
Emotion regulation difficulties
Anger and behavioural challenges
Executive function concerns
Social skills development
I also have extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments to better understand learning, attention, intellectual, and developmental profiles.
