Learn More About Me
As a child, I originally planned to become a teacher because I wanted to help students learn and grow. During my classroom placements, I became increasingly interested in what was happening beyond academics, such as how students were feeling, how they managed their emotions, and how friendships and classroom dynamics influenced their success. Seeing how strongly emotions and relationships shape learning led me to pursue a career in School Psychology, where I could focus on supporting the whole child.
The most rewarding part of my work is truly getting to know each client as an individual, including how they learn, how they experience the world, and what helps them feel confident and supported at school and at home. I value working closely with families and explaining assessment results in clear, practical terms. My goal is to help families better understand their child and to collaborate on meaningful strategies that support learning, emotional well-being, and confidence.
I also value being part of Wonderwise Psychology because of its supportive, team-oriented environment and shared commitment to high-quality care. We collaborate closely, respect one another’s perspectives, and genuinely enjoy working together. This positive team dynamic directly supports thoughtful, family-centred care.
My clinical work is grounded in a comprehensive, strengths-based, and evidence-informed approach. I focus on understanding each child’s unique profile and tailoring recommendations and interventions accordingly.
Areas of Focus
I provide psychological assessments to better understand the learning, mental health, social, and behavioural strengths and needs of children and youth. I pay careful attention to the interplay between learning and emotional well-being and how these areas influence one another.
I also provide therapy for children and adolescents, along with parent consultation and coaching. My therapeutic work draws from evidence-based approaches including:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
My areas of focus include:
Anxiety
Mood concerns
Emotion regulation
Social functioning and social skills
