Melody Asghari, M.A., Ph.D. Candidate

Doctoral Associate

Melody is a skilled clinician, completing her Ph.D. in Clinical- Developmental Psychology at York University. Melody has experience conducting comprehensive assessments with children and adolescents presenting with various clinical needs, including learning disabilities, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, and other mental health concerns. She also provides evidence-based treatment (including CBT) for those presenting with various clinical needs, including anxiety, mood challenges, emotion dysregulation, obsessive compulsive disorder, social skills and relationship challenges, attentional and executive function challenges, and low self-esteem.

 Melody has experience working with and supporting children, adolescents, and their families within a wide range of clinical settings. As part of her graduate training, Melody received clinical training at The Hospital for Sick Children, the Toronto District School Board, and the York University Psychology Clinic. She recently completed her pre-doctoral residency at Wonderwise Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Jessica Schnoll and Dr. Catherine Cappadocia.
