Learn More About Me

The most rewarding part of my work is witnessing subtle shifts or “aha” moments — when a young person sees something from a new perspective or discovers a skill that truly helps them. I find deep fulfillment in watching their confidence grow as they explore their strengths, learn to navigate big emotions and difficult situations, and make choices aligned with what matters most to them.

From the moment I joined Wonderwise Psychology, I felt welcomed by a warm and supportive team. That sense of care and connection extends into every aspect of our work and is reflected in how each clinician shows up for the children and families we support. The team’s dedication and passion are inspiring, and being part of that environment strengthens my own commitment to this work.

Growing up, I was not entirely sure what I wanted to be. My path shifted several times, even during my undergraduate degree. I explored teaching, medicine, and nursing, recognizing that each field reflected values important to me: listening to people’s stories, helping others, and building meaningful connections. Once I became clear about what truly resonated with me, I chose to pursue psychology, where those values remain central to my work.

My clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based practice and tailored to each young person’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. I prioritize building supportive, collaborative relationships and fostering a safe, trusting environment where youth feel empowered to explore their goals and work toward meaningful change. I draw on training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), integrating these approaches to meet the individual needs of my clients.
