Dr. Miranda DiLorenzo-Klas, C.Psych.
School and Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Miranda DiLorenzo-Klas is a licensed clinical and school psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) and a member of the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA). Her clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based practice and is tailored to each young person’s unique strengths, needs, and goals for services. Dr. DiLorenzo-Klas prioritizes building supportive, collaborative relationships and fostering a safe, trusting therapeutic environment that empowers youth to explore their goals and work toward meaningful change. She draws on training in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), integrating these approaches to meet the individual needs of her clients.
Dr. DiLorenzo-Klas provides assessment, consultation, and therapy services for children and adolescents experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), low mood, attention difficulties, disruptive behaviours, and social concerns. Recognizing the essential role of parents and caregivers in supporting youth, she also works with parents and/or caregivers to develop effective strategies that promote their children's mental well-being and development.
She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical-Developmental Psychology from York University. Her clinical training and professional experience span various healthcare, education, and community settings, including The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), university-affiliated clinics, the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), and private practice settings.
