Samantha Miranda, MSW, RSW

Registered Social Worker

Samantha Miranda is a registered social worker committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental and comfortable space for her clients to truly feel empowered. She works through an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens where clients feel acknowledged, heard and understood.  

Samantha provides evidence-based assessment and treatment to children, youth and their families with a range of presenting concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, family conflict, suicidal ideation, and trauma. She also works alongside caregivers to support their children in living to their fullest potential. Using a client-centred, strengths-based, and conversational approach, Samantha draws upon a wide range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy and Family Systems Therapy (FST). 

Samantha received her Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto with a specialization in children and their families and completed her practicum at the Toronto Catholic District School Board. Samantha has also worked in various non-profit community agencies.
