Learn More About Me

The most rewarding part of my work is supporting children, teens, and their families as they gain a deeper understanding of themselves and build confidence in areas that once felt overwhelming. Whether through therapy or assessment, I find it incredibly meaningful to help young people recognize their strengths, develop practical skills, and feel more capable in their daily lives.

I value being part of a team at Wonderwise Psychology that takes a collaborative, child- and teen-centred approach. Each young person’s strengths, needs, and goals are carefully considered, and I appreciate the opportunity to use evidence-based strategies in both therapy and assessment. Supporting children and teens as they experience growth in their learning, relationships, and emotional well-being, and seeing the lasting impact on families, makes this work deeply fulfilling.

Growing up, I wanted to be a teacher. I was fascinated by how people learn and develop, and I enjoyed helping others feel more confident in their abilities. Those early interests continue to guide my work with children, adolescents, and families.

My clinical approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and individualized. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring treatment to the unique strengths, needs, and developmental level of each child or teen. I emphasize building insight, strengthening emotional regulation skills, and developing practical strategies, while working closely with parents to support meaningful and lasting change.
