Learn More About Me

The best part of my work is empowering children and adolescents to recognize and reach their full potential, regardless of their needs or exceptionalities. I value building meaningful relationships with children, teens, and their families and walking alongside them as they gain insight, confidence, and new skills. When a client, whether a young child, a teenager, or a parent, begins to achieve their goals and experience growth, I am reminded why I love this work. I am especially inspired when assessment results lead to open doors and new paths, turning challenges into opportunities and helping children and teens discover what they are truly capable of.

From the moment you enter the waiting room, whether in person or virtually, there is a strong sense of warmth, acceptance, and possibility at Wonderwise Psychology. I appreciate working in such a collaborative and supportive environment, with a shared commitment to thoughtful, high-quality, evidence-based care. While we often work independently as clinicians, there is a genuine sense of community among our team and the families we serve.

As a very young child, I wanted to be an actress and used to say, “I want Hollywood to become Mollywood!” As I grew older, that dream shifted toward teaching. Once I entered the classroom, I realized I wanted to provide more individualized, one-on-one support to children, teens, and families facing a wide range of social-emotional and learning challenges. That realization ultimately led me to psychology.

My client-centred clinical approach is grounded in building strong, caring, and collaborative relationships, as meaningful change begins with feeling understood and supported. I integrate a range of assessment tools and treatment approaches that are thoughtfully tailored to each individual’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. My work draws from several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Play Therapy (CBPT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). I work closely with families to support positive outcomes across both home and school settings.

Areas of Focus

My work includes comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments, child therapy, and parent coaching. I work with children and adolescents experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioural, developmental, and learning challenges.

These include:

  • Anxiety

  • Mood and depressive symptoms

  • Emotion regulation difficulties

  • ADHD and executive functioning challenges

  • Obsessive-compulsive symptoms

  • Eating-related concerns

  • Autism spectrum presentations

  • Learning disabilities

  • Intellectual disabilities

  • Giftedness

  • Social and relationship difficulties

  • Low self-esteem

  • Significant life transitions

Through parent coaching, I empower caregivers with practical, manageable strategies to support their child’s progress and strengthen the broader family system.

Drawing on my classroom and Special Education experience, I provide practical recommendations for school-based supports, Individual Education Plans, remediation and programming, and appropriate school placement. I also consult with teachers and families to promote consistency and success across home and school environments. I prioritize clear, developmentally appropriate psychoeducation so children, adolescents, and families can better understand assessment results, build self-awareness, and develop tools to advocate for their needs.
